University of Crete Library http://www.lib.uoc.gr/ In order to be able to borrow books from the University of Crete Library, it is necessary to complete and send this form after completing your registration. Student Hangout The small Student Hangout of the University of Crete in Rethymno hosts 7 of the 9 student groups: Painting, Theater, Rethymno Student Film Club, "Roads of the East", Cinematography, Anti-racist, Photography. The studio of the Music group as well as the hangout of the voluntary blood donation group "Tribe of Blood" is located on the University Campus.
Gym Located in the western part of the University Campus, it offers students and members of the academic community the opportunity for free exercise in a friendly environment. Academic ID Acquisition Service https://academicid.minedu.gov.gr/ After being informed about the completion of your registration and your student registration number, you can apply on the Ministry of Education website for an academic ID (pass). First, you must have a digital photo file of yourself in which only your face must appear fully and clearly, just as in a police ID. If the photo is not suitable or any of the information you have declared is incorrect, the application will be rejected and you will have to resubmit it, which will cause a delay. The registration number you must use is the one with four digits, not the multi-digit general number. Internet Access and Other Digital Services Upon your registration, the University of Crete will send you a form to activate your academic account through which you will have access to various digital services such as an email address, connection to the EDUROAM wireless network where there is coverage, connection to the VPN network for access to digital content outside the University Campus, connection to the student portal and other systems. These services are mentioned in the activation form.
Announcements It is necessary and on a regular basis you must be informed about the announcements posted on the Eduportal student portal and on the Department Website as you will be informed through them about anything important concerning your studies.
